Background
For many years, Doctor Yklymberdi Aronshtam was the personal research assistant to one of the greatest geniuses of the Soviet Union, Professor Sergei Proserpov. Yklymberdi assisted the professor in some of his most landmark experiments. The last one the two work on was the super-soldier project before Prosperpov was sent into exile in Siberia after the experiment failed miserably. Yklymberdi never did learn what caused Super-Spetzna to go berserk, but being an astute Soviet knew the writing on the wall.
Yklymberdi fled back to his native Turkmenstan SSR, just knowing that the KGB would be hot on his heels. He was able to evade detection for several years until something curious happened. The Soviet Union collapsed upon itself. Seizing the oppurtunity Yklymberdi stowed away in an oil tanker bound for Saudi Arabia. He tried to blend in his best with the Saudi's, but somehow he was caught up.
In a small apartment in Riyadh there was knock at the door followed by the door being kicked in. In stalked a huge man with an eye patch pointing a gun squarely at Yklymberdi's face.
"Doctor Yklymberdi Aronshtam," said the man, "you are under arrest for espionage against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
Yklymberdi of course had no idea what the man was talking about, but he wasn't about to argue with a man with a gun. Several more men came into the apartment and handcuffed Yklymberdi and hauled him out to a waiting van. While in the van someone put a hood over his head and he couldn't see a thing. Yklymberdi felt like he was being kidnapped.
A little while later he was hustled into a building sat down in a chair and had the hood ripped off. Again the giant of a man who broke into his apartment was there. He was reading from a file. Without looking up he spoke.
"Do you know what the penalty for spying in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is?"
"I wasn't spying."
"You are Doctor Yklymberdi Aronshtam are you not?"
"Yes, but what does that have to do with anything. I was merely seeking political assylum in Saudi Arabia."
The man closed the file with a snap.
"So that is it. Hm. Well in that case doctor, assylum is granted, but on one condition. That condition is that you work for me. I am Colonel Faisal ibn Abdullah Al Saud the head of the Directorate. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in need of your talents doctor. I don't take no for an answer."
"I am no super-hero Colonel Saud."
"That I know doctor, therefore I need you to make one for me."
At first Yklymberdi was against the idea, but the longer he was with the Directorate the more the idea made sense. Using the knowledge that he gained working with Professor Proserpov, Yklymberdi recreated the experiment that Professor Proserpov used on his daughter to make her into the super hero Prezma. Yklymberdi's super-hero was code-named Al-Nil or the Indigo. The good doctor keeps a close eye on his creation, and Colonel Saud keeps and eye on him.
Personality
Yklymberdi is a medical scientist through and through. His greatest passion is working in his lab often times forgetting to eat or sleep for days. While not as great as scientist as Professor Proserpov or the Professor, Yklymberdi isn't a slouch when it comes to science.
Quote
"I be not knowing why everyone be calling me 'Q'?"
Powers
Ykylmberdi is a man with a lot of scientific knowledge, most of which he gained while working alongside Professor Proserpov. Like other agents of the Directorate, Ykylmberdi wears a suit of light weight body armor. He also carries around a serpentine pistol which he designed for himself and Colonel Saud. Otherwise, Yklymberdi isn't much of a physical man.
Appearance
Yklymberdi is a slight man with huge glasses. He wears the standard Directorate uniform of light green body armor with boots and gloves with a white harness and belt. However, unlike other agents, Yklymberdi wears a white lab coat over his armor. Yklymberdi is an unassuming man with a dark mustache and light beard. The other agents of the Directorate like to call him 'Q'.
